Panther AP4 6.8mm Special Carbine has a 4140 chrome-moly steel 16" AP4 contour barrel with 6 grooves, right hand 1X11 twist, button rifled with A2 flash hider (birdcage), gas operated rotating bolt, and a 8620 steel bolt carrier. The upper receiver features A3 flattop with detachable carry handle and rear sight adjustable for windage and elevation, dust cover, and shell deflector. The Upper and Lower Receiver made of 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum. The Lower Receiver feature semi-auto trigger group, aluminum trigger guard, and aluminum magazine release button. The stock is a AP4 6-position, telescoping fiber reinforced polymer and the handguards are GalcierGuards Oval.
