Knight & Hale's box call, the Hammerhead, is the first to contain a soundboard within the box, essentially creating a soundboard within a soundboard. This precise soundboard system consisting of raised ribs of specific length, height and width, borrowed from the company's Hammer Series friction calls, softens the highest highs and lowest lows and creates a more nasally tone, just like a real live turkey hen. Another reason this handsomely engraved box call will accompany you to the woods for many springs to come is the waterproof coating. This is a box call that sounds as good wet as it does dry. The Hammerhead Box base is machined out of a single piece of poplar wood, meaning that there are no glued corners to fall apart or dampen the sound. The durable lid is made of cherry wood. Manufacturing the Hammerhead is multi-World, multi-Grand National Turkey Calling Champion Chris Parrish and his Kustom Calls company, so this truly is a call created by a champion.
